Who is Walter Geering?

Walter Geering founded our company in 1903. On New Year’s day he borrowed £20 from the bank to buy a printing press. That courageous first step led to a multi million pound business that over 100 years later remains in the same family.

Over the years, we diversified beyond printing on just paper, we were printing flower sleeves, apple wrapping and paper bath mats, to name a few!

Walter Geering was a keen traveller, and on his travels in the mid 1920s he discovered that the difference between a 4 star and 5 star rated hotel was whether or not the hotel offered a shoe shining facility. Having already experimented printing on much more than just paper, we began to offer Hotels in the UK a piece of shoe shining cloth, printed with their hotel name. Over the years we expanded into toiletries, bedding and linen and much more!

And the rest they say, is history!

Environmentally aware

The environment is of great importance to us, and we are striving to ensure that our supply chain is as environmentally friendly as possible. Our own brand toiletry collections are all recyclable and we have collections available that are either biodegradable, made with wheat straw or made with post-consumer recycled plastic.

All of our toiletry collections are paraben free and none are tested on animals.  Read more about our eco commitment.

Next day delivery

All orders are picked and dispatched by our own warehouse within 24 hours to ensure they reach you on time and in good condition. Our national delivery service delivers next working day for orders placed by 3pm Monday-Friday (subject to availability) and can deliver up until 6pm.
