National Bank Holiday – Monday 19th September 2022

As we have heard over the weekend, Monday 19th September will be a national bank holiday for the State Funeral of Queen Elizabeth II and mark the last day of mourning.

Walter Geering has decided that we too shall recognise the day as a bank holiday. This means our offices will be closed and we shall not be completing any dispatches on Monday 19th September. Our courier partners, DPD, are also closing their collection and delivery services. This means that if you require a delivery ahead of this weekend please order before 3pm on  Thursday 15th September. Orders received after  3PM, and indeed over the weekend, will not be despatched until Tuesday 20th September. 

This is a historic moment with the entire nation coming together to remember and celebrate the incredible achievements of Queen Elizabeth II and we want everyone at Walter Geering to also be able to pay their respects.

Office Closure & Stocktake

📦 Friday 27th March — Order Cut-Off at 12 Noon

We will be closing our inbound order lines at 12 noon on Friday 27th March. Any orders will need to be confirmed and placed before this time, as we will be unable to process new orders after midday.

🗓️ Reopening — Tuesday 31st March

We will be carrying out our end-of-year stocktake over 28th–30th March and plan to reopen on Tuesday 31st March.

🐣 Easter Weekend — Closed 3rd to 6th April

Please be aware that following reopening, there are only 2 working days (1st and 2nd April) before we close for the 4-day Easter bank holiday weekend.

What this means for you:

If you need stock before Easter, we strongly recommend placing your order as early as possible.

With limited working days between our reopening and the Easter break, early orders will help ensure your stock is packed and delivered in good time.
